Some pictures of the truck as it is now. Lots more to come, as I build her up and change things I don't like or don't hold up.
I added running lights to the roof, rear tailgate and along the frame rails.
Wave as I roll over ya! The front bumper has a home made push bar, two Hella and two KC lights mounted.
Jesse ridin' high! Here's a picture of my son Jesse. He loves to ride in the big Bronco and hit the junkyards with me. Can't beat that.
Can I have the keys dad, please?
Back seat, from a 91 Bronco XLT. I thought I would have alot of problems putting in a back seat since my bronco didn't come with the seat package originally. When I lined up the seat, I found that Ford did provide the bolt holes, just not the rear hold down. I took the whole bracket area from the 91, cut the area in mine to fit the bracket in and bolted it in. Everything fit like it belonged there.
Side cab shot. This shows the seats and carpet from the 91, the Grant GT steering wheel and the Iron Horse center console which also houses the JVC 10-disk cd player.
Dash finally finished. The dash took awhile to complete. I had to cut and fabricate a bracket for the stereo since the previous owner had cut it to fit something in it, hence the heater bounced and I had no where to connect the stereo to. I had to replace the dash pad, now its got a custom cover to go over it. New gauge package, Sun Tach to watch the revs, Grant GT steering wheel, connected to diesel air horns, light switches in the left corner and just below the tach, (kinda hard to see), the switch and light for the homemade intermittent wipers.
Here is the DUI installed. I got tired of the Ford module, crap load of wires and poor performance from the original coil setup. I found a great company down south that makes the DUI. Its a one wire setup, custom curved to my engine and really made a difference in the way the engine performs.
Front seats from that same 91 Bronco XLT. Not alot to swapping in the seats from a newer bronco. I used the original mounts, and just bolted the new seats to the mounts. I also added in the seat belts from the 91.
New bumper side shot. My rear bumper was in bad shape and I needed a way to haul a trailer, etc. My friend Blake and I fabricated this neat rear bumper that incorporates a trailer hitch in it and some awesome backup lights. Plus it gives me something to stand on when loading something in the rear window or cleaning the roof. The bumper also provides support between the rear frame rails, has two massive tow hooks and it all connects to the frame with grade 8 bolts for removal should I need to.
414.3 cubic inches of raw ford power finally between the frame rails..
It just didn't look right with 12.5" tires, and the noise and harsh ride sucked. These are the Super Swamper Boggers, 16.5" wide 35" tall. Better ride, less noise and looks alot better.
Better view from the front side. Looks alot more aggressive now.
Finally took the top off and installed a kayline top. Now enjoying the summer even more.
